Sarah Boswell
Director and PreK Teacher
Sarah grew up in Oklahoma where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She was as a 3rd grade teacher for several years before her children were born. Sarah and her husband Jimmy have 3 kids, 2 boys and 1 girl. They lived a few years overseas in Ireland before moving to Oregon in 2015. This is her 9th year at KOK. One thing Sarah loves when working with kids is seeing the excitement on their faces when they make connections and when they discover they CAN do something on their own! When Sarah isn’t at KOK, she spends her time at her kids’ ballgames and activities, traveling, and enjoys cooking.
Hyeyeon Kim
3’s Teacher
Hyeyeon has been teaching preschoolers for 6 years and has been a piano teacher for 27 years. She has 1 daughter who is a Junior at college in Ohio. Most weekends you can find her on a boat fishing, or on the coast digging for clams.
Jasmine Hawkins
Marketing Coordinator
Meet Jasmine. Both of her boys, Quentin (9) and Tristan (6), have attended KOK, making the preschool a truly special part of her family’s journey. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska (Go Huskers!), Jasmine now calls Beaverton home, where she enjoys babying her houseplants, volunteering at her sons’ school, and spending time at the track with her family.
